Description
Ecoshine F1, currently listed as Ecoshine Compound F1, is a high-cut polishing compound for removing sanding marks, scratches, oxidation, and dullness. Its low-dusting formula is designed to work for an extended cycle and can achieve one-step correction on suitable paint systems.
IGL recommends pairing it with an appropriate medium-hard foam pad and using either a rotary or dual-action polisher.
Key Features:
- High Cutting Power – Removes sanding marks in approximately the P1200 to P3000 range.
- Low Dust – Reduces residue during correction work.
- Long Working Time – Allows the abrasive system to be worked through a controlled polishing cycle.
- One-Step Capability – Can correct and refine compatible paint in one stage.
- Bodyshop Safe – Designed for professional refinishing environments.
- Machine Versatility – Suitable for rotary and dual-action polishing.
Areas of Application:
- Automotive paint and clear coat
- Polycarbonate headlights
- Sanding marks, scratches, oxidation, and dull paint
- Rotary and dual-action machine polishing
How to Use:
- Wash, decontaminate, and mask sensitive edges or trim before machine polishing.
- Fit a clean medium-hard foam pad, add a small amount of compound, and spread it at low speed.
- Polish in controlled crosshatch passes; the official page lists approximately 800 to 1500 RPM for rotary use.
- Keep the pad moving and stop before the panel overheats; never polish stationary on one spot.
- Wipe residue with a clean microfiber towel, inspect, and repeat or refine with a finer polish if required.
